Best time to visit Arunachal Pradesh
The ideal months to visit Arunachal Pradesh are October and April, which are the state's winter and spring months. Because Arunachal is located at a high altitude, it offers beautiful weather all year. The temperature may be too hot to explore during the peak daylight hours throughout the summer (April to June). The state's monsoon season runs from July to September, when the landscape changes into a lush green beauty, however excessive rains may close several tourist sites.
Arunachal Pradesh in Winter (Oct to Feb)
Winter occurs in Arunachal Pradesh between the months of October and February each year. The weather remains warm and reasonable (about 15°C) throughout the day, but the evenings can be quite cold, with temperatures as low as 7°C. It is a popular tourism attraction for visitors from temperate and hot climates. The rugged topography is a joy to explore, especially now that the monsoons have passed and the region is covered in a thick blanket of vegetation. So there's much to see throughout the day.
The winter season is particularly ideal for people who want to see some of Arunachal Pradesh's most prominent festivities. The Ziro Festival of Music, annually in September-October, is a well-known four-day music festival where visitors may enjoy thrilling music made by local, national, and worldwide performers as well as experience the festival's own style of mirth. The Siang River Festival takes place on the 16th and 17th of December. Folk music and dance performances, cultural events, sports and contests, paragliding, river rafting, hot air ballooning, and exhibitions are all part of the festival. Every year in January, the Pangsau Pass Winter Festival is held, which is known for its exhibitions and cultural events. Losar Festival, Nyokum, the three-day Boori Boot, and Chalo Loku are also on the schedule.

The monsoon season typically lasts from July until late September, with strong and persistent rainfall. The temperature fluctuates from 17°C to 30°C, and the state receives an average of 300 centimetres of rain each year. Tourists may also explore the landscape, which is covered with lush green flora. At higher elevations, one can see the mountains reaching close to the clouds. Hikers, trekkers, honeymooners, and off-the-beaten-path travellers flock to the mountain stations.
